Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have announced that they’re no longer romantically involved, but insist that they’ll remain friends.While the pair have only just recently been sharing happy photographs of themselves together on social media, they’ve now released a joint statement announcing their shock split.
Shawn, 23, wore a bullfighter outfit, coupled with skeleton face paint, while Camila wore an off-the-shoulder flamenco dress with bedazzled face paint. In an Instagram post shared at the time of their move, the Havana singer wrote: “When you're in a relationship with someone, it feels like they are this mirror reflecting yourself back to you — I constantly have to confront my fears, my anxieties, my insecurities, my patterns of thinking, my beliefs about life and about myself.
Back in October, Camila revealed that they were both having therapy, but not as a couple — something which she said helped them be transparent with each other.
