Also in their ruling, the five law lords criticised the Court of Appeal for making its"own assessment of the requirements of national security" and ignoring the home secretary"despite the absence of any relevant evidence before it, or any relevant findings of fact by the court below".

Best decision ever by the UK Supreme Court. It would have opened the floodgates for other ISIS fighters to enter the UK. You can’t eat your cake and have it.

I remember when Isis was recruiting and governments were saying if go join isis you won’t be allowed back to country. The heavy warning was there, police were even trying to stop people if they got word, person was looking to join. No amount of media attention should change that.

QUESTION: What about the British citizen, a woman who joined IDF illegal occupiers, wore Israeli apartheid uniform ,recently murdered a Palestinian, is she allowed to return to the UK or keep her passport?

Even if she was allowed back she'd be outed and attacked by vigilantes, could never lead a 'normal' life due to exposure in the media and is potentially a security threat as what's to stop her doing it again or acting out. This decision protects all concerned.
