is well short of the 100,000 drivers the Road Haulage Association say the country is in need of but the government will hope the smaller influx of workers will help keep critical supply chains moving.Long lines at petrol stations are once again being reported at various locations
The prime minister and transport secretary have previously resisted industry calls for visa rules to be relaxed, with Grant Shapps saying as recently as yesterday morning that seeking to ‘undercut’ the problem ‘with cheaper European drivers’ wouldn’t fix the issue long-term. A ‘small number’ of Tesco refilling stations have also been impacted, said Esso owner ExxonMobil, which runs the sites.
Industry bosses in the retail and haulage sectors have been calling for visa rules to be relaxed for months He also refused to rule out the prospect of the military being called on to transport critical stock.
The crisis has begun 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧. What a pity ... 😜 Maybe you remember such headlines in newspapers? 👇👇👇
All bollox started by the MSM
Caused by mass media spreading fear and panic including you ?
Metro are part of the ScumMedia they caused the petrol panic
There is NO Fuel shortage, this is purely down to the Press and MSM creating hysteria, ensuring people panic buy, this is on the ScumMedia
U-Turn after U-Turn NeverVoteConservative
Lets not forget the greedy bastard oil companies who have hiked up their fuel prices by 20% when there is NO SHORTAGE OF FUEL AT ALL!!!!
It is called an own goal, you saw what you reap, thanks to Brexiteers this chaos could have been avoided.
Hopefully theurcars will overheat ant they'll explode it would provide some afternoon entertainment whilst getting rid of some r€tards also
This is the loo roll debacle all over again. News reports shortages, shows repeated pictures of people panic buying so everyone else panics and goes to get more than they need making the whole situation much worse.
The headline in Daily_Express saying BorisJohnson 'demands a solution ' - thought he was the solution as PM - heaven help us all!
Me, my son and partner are disabled and rely on our car to get around and can't put fuel in anywhere near me. Selfish is too kind for these morons, greedy more like.
Are they selfish though? If they HAVE to drive to work, & there's a risk they won't be able to get petrol, that's not going to help them.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't even own a car, yet I have filled five jerry cans with petrol. Anything I can do to make things worse, I'll do. I'm only too happy to help.
