The pandemic shouldn't be an excuse for delaying/forbid a referendum. The USA, a country much bigger than Scotland, elected it's president through the pandemic. So it shouldn't be a problem to hold an independent referendum for Scotland. EU will welcome you, Go Scotland! 🏴🇪🇺

Having a referendum is one thing, but able to stand up and be an independent country with financial stability to support its people is something else. Unfortunately Scotland would have to significantly reduce public spending to survive on its own. It doesn’t generate enough.
It is time for Scotland to get independence from the madness of Brexit. Time to unite with the rest of Europe. Time to be Scotland not the UK. Their people deserve that. Forget crowns. We are entering a new era.

For anyone who wonders about what Sturgeon has said consider for a moment Johnson's idea. He has said Scotland has to wait 40 years for another vote. So a Scottish person aged 20 might need to wait until they are 60? Come on Boris. This is plainly stupid and undemocratic.

I took the same comment the other way - by referencing a legal referendum in her answer on Marr show thought she was ruling proceeding without section 30 approval from Westminster . We will see.

If folk don't want a referendum on independence the democratic way would be to vote against the SNP here. But remember- if SNP win you'll need to accept an independence referendum is happening. Simple as that.
