Forces’ expanding use of technology is in part being driven by cuts, says study

National guidance is urgently needed to oversee the police’s use of data-driven technology amid concerns it could lead to discrimination, a report has said.

Yet 10 member states of the eu are looking to introduce digital technology (face recognition) so guess, it will be ok for them but not for the UK?
