The Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance matinee performance at Royal Albert Hall on November 8, 2014 anniversary next year unless it secures urgent funds, its chief executive has warned.venue has lost an estimated £12 million in potential revenue since being forced to close its doors as part of nationwide lockdown measures.
The venue has already taken a £5 million loan to stay afloat, but still needs up to £10 million more to avoid going under by early next year. Mr Hassall said: ‘Until venues can open without social distancing, the live music industry is finished.’
This venue has to be saved, it's one of the most beautiful and iconic venues and is a massive part of the entertainment history in the UK.
