New figures reveal three million workers in the retail and hospitality sectors have been furloughed

Thousands of workers across the energy, manufacturing and travel industries face redundancy as businesses including Centrica, Liberty Steel, Johnson Matthey and Heathrow Airport cut costs to cope with the coronavirus recession.
