Demonstrators took to the streets in Paris and Lyon in protest against French President Emmanuel Macron's election win over far-right rival Marine Le Pen. Protesters threw fireworks at a police car in Lyon, while police fired tear gas and charged at dozens gathered in Place de la Républiquesquare in Paris.
Far right voters are really bad losers... or maybe just like any excuse to create a bit of mayhem in the streets.

Two things: first I don’t understand why French protest. They are the ones who voted! Secondly to me Macron is not the top; but in these delicate times he’s preferable to Le Pen for obvious reasons linked to Putin and the war in Ukraine. French should calm down and move forward.
