It is also located close to Birkhall which is the residence of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on the Balmoral Estate. The Balmoral Estate stretches over 50,000 acres and the castle was a gift to Queen Victoria from her husband Prince Albert after the couple fell in love with the majestic countryside.
