Prince Charles has opened up about his last conversation with his father Prince Philip on the eve of his death.
In the snippet from the documentary, Prince Charles, who with his wife Camilla relocated recently for the Queen as she spent her first summer without Prince Philip, is said to recall how he phoned Prince Philip the day before he died.The chat was about the Duke’s 100th birthday celebrations, and he received a response showing his father’s wit was very much still in tact.
He revealed in the documentary of being aware the Duke was slightly hard of hearing, so he repeated himself louder saying: “We're talking about your birthday! And whether there's going to be reception!”
