It came after the bodies of 39 people had been found in a container which had arrived in Purfleet on the River Thames from Zeebrugge, Belgium.Meanwhile, officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland have carried out raids on two houses associated with the arrested man - one in Markethill, County Armagh, and another in nearby Laurelvale.
Eric Van Duyse, a spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor's office, said that an investigation into the incident had begun.
You perfectly tell us how you manipulate the fake new. Really shame on you. 'Great Job!!!'
I think it is wrong that they have released this lorry drivers name and photo until they charge him for the offence. This would not happen to people of colour.black
Common sense would tell us he’s not a murderer. No mention of the company he works for.
It is heartbreaking that 39 people are found dead in the back of a lorry. it is all as a result of several factors including conflicts and wealth distribution inequality across the world.
Another prime example of why you should be shut down and some of you arrested. You released his name and now it looks like he did nothing wrong. You put his life, and his families, at risk of reprisals. Can’t arrest the BBC, but individuals can be. Individuals Chose to run this.
Why not have cameras fitted internally so at every check stage contents can be easily viewed.
And we aee supposed to trust our police. They jump in thinking we have got our msn, forgetting he had only just picked up the vehicle. Talk about dad's army.
The police are the problem. They're not recording what happening in society. Plenty of other deaths on our streets while the police say nothing about it
you haven't reported, the driver only picked up the lorry trailer half an hour before and that he was the one who alerted the authorities. Just report he's been arrested for murder. You think the media would have learned not to name people before conviction. Disappointed BBC!
Why did early reports say it entered the UK via Ireland and Holyhead and now they're saying it entered via Purfleet.
House of Commons House of Lords Two organized crime groups in league with the Vatican and carrying out depopulation and citizen replacement therapy throughout Europe, North America, Central and South America, Asia, Australia, and a variety of Pacific and Atlantic islands.
What I can't find anywhere is who and how we're the bodies discovered. Who decided to open the trailer? Why? Were they suspicious? Was it party of a routine inspection? Was police tipped?
BrexitPenny Yeah. Very sad. Next.
Why do Fake News insist on implicating the driver when they already know the trailer entered the country at Purfleet?
Stop saying lorry ok plz
I heard he was released without charge few hours ago ?
Why give his name?! If he’s found to be an innocent in all this, you’ve perpetuated the notion that he was involved. Where’s the public interest?
Opsss
