Phillip Schofield took to Instagram to express his gratitude after receiving a "lovely" anonymous letter and gift. The ITV This Morning host was moved by the kind gesture which came from a stranger, without any indication of who it might have been.
"To whoever sent the lovely anonymous letter & gorgeous rainbow rose, thank you," he wrote alongside the photo. Fans weren't able to comment on the post as he put restrictions on his page, but This Morning co-star Clodagh McKenna was quick to post a string of different coloured hearts in the comments section.Vanessa Feltz also wrote: "Lovely," alongside two star emojis while the post racked up thousands of likes.
However, This Morning quickly hit back at the claims their presenters skipped the queue and during their first day back on This Morning following their Westminster Hall appearance on Tuesday, September 20, Holly addressed the outrage in a video documenting the events of the last couple of weeks, from finding out the Queen had died right up until the late monarch's funeral.
