Photos show the prime minister with a glass in his hand and multiple bottles of wine on a table with several other people as they appear to be toasting a colleague. The government is awaiting a report into lockdown parties.

Senior Conservative MP Tom Tugendhat said the photos shows a lack of"seriousness" at the top of government in its attitude towards the pandemic.

"We know that teachers were turning up to work and making sure that people could get kids education when they were essential workers."And I'm afraid this doesn't show the level of seriousness that we really need in government."Veteran Tory MP Sir Roger Gale said it was"absolutely clear that there was a party" and that the PM was there.

"There is now photographic evidence that when the prime minister stood up in parliament and was asked directly was there a party in No 10 on this date and he replied 'no', he lied to Parliament," she told Channel 4 News. And current Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross demanded an explanation of why the PM thinks his behaviour was"acceptable" when most will think the pictures"seem unjustifiable and wrong".

Of course Sue Gray's will be released, on Friday after Parliament has gone on holiday.

And then they saw both sides of the story, not much to report here after all.

A political party rotten to the core. An affront to the position and removing all future standards and decency within a political role. The question going forward is simply 'If they don't respect the rules why should anyone else'. Vacant of trust

Vote of no confidence required. Hold the selfservatives to account at the next GE if they won’t oust Boris TimesUp borisout

Go on Boris, Lad! You deserve a drink after all this BS!

its defo a cover up, it cant be anything else, when people at that same party was fined, but the PM wasnt. or maybe he was, and they just aren't telling us. 2 fixed penaly notices and he would have been gone. Trust is just gone, why is he still PM.

Conservative party hard at it!!!

Nobody cares about Partygate. Media didn't get what they wanted from the metpoliceuk or the Sue Gray Report so are releasing photos that the police have already seen and dealt with.

Who gives a fuck! Sort out inflation

Will anybody resign?

Tory windfall tax row widens as two more Cabinet ministers reject the policyBrandon Lewis and Sajid Javid became the fifth and sixth Cabinet members to speak out against a possible plan to tax energy firms Do the ministers have any financial interests in the energy companies? Windfall taxes are populist short term crowd pleasers that end up doing more harm than good in the long run. So I fully expect Boris Johnson to announce one in the immediate future. Should EU Ireland join NATO too, just like it's Northern Counterpart?
