Paige Turley and Finn Tapp split the £50,000 cash prize between them after they crowned the winning couple on the latest series of Love Island .

In an emotional live episode, where a tribute to former host Caroline Flack was made, 22 year old Paige was awarded the £50,000 cash prize which she chose to split with her beau Finn 20.After the news of Caroline’s death broke, the show faced calls to be axed as Caroline became the third star from the show to have taken their own life.

View gallery But, producers confirmed the show will return and applications have opened for contestants to join the series in the summer after Caroline’s management insisted the late TV star was supported by the show's bosses.“Sadly not only will this never happen now, but in the last few weeks of her life the world of television ceased to become a priority for her as she battled to just see a way through to getting her life back.”
