No one is obliged to drink alcohol in a pub or bar. Other options are available. I have teetotal friends who are quite happy to meet & socialise in an environment where others are drinking alcohol.

I would argue drinking culture is especially exclusionary to Muslims who don't drink because there's an extra layer of potential xenophobia, but drinking culture is damaging to *everyone* who doesn't drink (and the livers of those who do too, of course).

Can't agree. If you apply for a job where alcohol is sold, but you refuse to serve alcohol because of religious beliefs then you should not apply for that job to begin with. It is, afterall, a term and a condition of your employment.
