It was one of the most empowering moments of my life to gather with fellow DACA recipients in DCrecipient, an immigrant, gay, unashamed, and unafraid. I was born and raised in Mexico City. My family and I came to the United States illegally when I was eight years old. A lot of things have happened since. Now, at 22 years old, I am still undocumented and living in this country I call home.
And yet... When Dem's had to chance to protect all Dreamers in exchange for helping fund the border wall... Dem's said no. What happened? Trump just got the funding from the military and built the wall anyway. Yeeeahhhh.... let's pat them on the back for a job well done
