Northern Ireland Protocol problems 'need to be resolved by autumn'

The protocol is the Brexit deal which prevents a hard Irish border by keeping Northern Ireland inside the EU's single market for goods.

That also creates a new trade border between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK, something the EU accepts is causing difficulties for many businesses.'Not far enough'The UK wants more fundamental change, including the removal of the European Court of Justice from its oversight role in the deal.

Probably best to stop insulting the people you are trying to resolve the issue with. Always found that gets things done, agreed quicker.

First of all there are no 'negotiations'. Those ended in 2019 before the deal was signed & ratified BY BOTH SIDES. Secondly, Frost cannot complain that the Protocol 'isn't working' when the uk has made NO efforts to implement it.

Time for USA to stop meddling in another countries affairs. But you will never learn, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan
