Rumours have been circulating online that Amber Heard was the inspiration for the new viral Snapchat filter 😭

Many have started watching the case on a YouTube livestream, and questioned whether the new filter was coincidentally introduced around the same time.

Users flocked to Twitter to discuss the lens, with one questioning: ‘Is it just me or is the new snap chat filter making fun of Amber Heard…’‘LMAOOO they made a Snapchat filter that looks eerily close to Amber Heard facial expressions in court,’ a Twitter user penned.‘Asif there’s a #amberheard Snapchat filter,’ a follower posted.that there is no truth to the speculation.

In fact, the filter has been in the works for around six months before it debuted on the platform, which means the timeline doesn’t add up, as the bombshell case only began last month. The company also released the opposite lens, with a huge smile, recently, and insisted that all their filters go through moderation processes.

Is It Okay To Laugh At The Johnny Depp Vs Amber Heard Trial?Social media is littered with memes of the former couple’s facial expressions with mocking captions, and there are viral articles being shared on Facebook showcasing the “funniest moments” from the trial so far. If I'd ever heard someone rip on Depp it could be considered fair humor, though still dated and not particularly funny. Great piece.

Are we the bad guys in Wagatha Christie and Depp vs Heard sagas? When I was a schoolboy, there was nothing I enjoyed more than exaggerating a mild sniffle, sloping off school and settling down to another riveting episode of the fictional daytime Granada TV trial, Crown Court. It taught me the thrill and jeopardy of a courtroom drama early. Let’s call it preparatory education for the trials I’ve known and obsessed over since, both fictional and real; an early afternoon apprenticeship in how to later negotiate Ally McBeal, This Life and The Good Wife. Nope. We're not in court. We're the good guys. Don't give them publicity. Too much time and money.
