Photograph: Fraser Bremner/Daily Mail/PAPhotograph: Fraser Bremner/Daily Mail/PAScotland’s largest parents’ organisation is calling for the SNP government to withdraw its schools’ health and wellbeing census, which has attracted opprobrium for asking 14-year-olds about their experience of anal sex.
Tbf it is a strange question to ask
Tell them Tae mind their ain fucking business!! Is it just me that thinks the world is aff it's chump!!
Nicola would you like to give us your experience of anal sex?
what is going on with governments and citizens right to privacy?
Resign Sturgeon it’s OVER
Can't she go on Tinder like everyone else if that's what she wants?
Now I understand why Uncle Nigel would never answer the door to census people...
WTAF is she on!!!!
State and the bedroom still rampant I see! Ridiculous!
The census is just marketing research.
Well at least I learnt a new word: opprobrium 🥺😂
I wonder if it's possible to be 'anal' about sex, without actually having 'anal sex' 🙄
Why? The point of a survey is so it is possible to target resources. Nice to see you are enabling us hurtling back to the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' era.
I can smell your homophobia from here… 😒
The implication that ‘anal’ is the straw that broke the camels back reeks of homophobia. Teenagers are gonna have sex regardless of whether we educate them. Queer people deserve comprehensive and informative sex education.
They’re going to get shafted by government when they leave school anyway, so they’ll soon learn.
Aye cos she just made it up herself right?
bad reporting about an utterly absurd moral panic
If the concerns actually raised by the group you’re reporting on are about pupil’s privacy, why does the headline mention ‘anal sex’ specifically?
The issue isn’t one of ‘prudery’ it’s that the personal/intimate nature of the information provided wasn’t going to be sufficiently protected; furore relates to the lack of data protection and mental/trauma safeguarding for the recipients (children).
Is the guardian now just the daily mail for liberals?
At some point the state needs to butt out of private life, this one certainly comes under that heading!
Parents group says it all 🤦♂️
The comments are going to be reasonable... right,, no homophobia.. right?
WTAF! They do that? For real 😳! Fucked up shit!
As she said in the house “up the bum, no harm done”
Really now that’s going to the bottom of the class.
Why? If folk think that teenagers don't talk about shagging, including potting the brown, then they're off their heads. It would be better to get good data rather than worry about what a load of dafties think.
What if we ask politicians about their anal sex habits lol?
This headline is homophobic cherry picking
**checks the calendar**
Arse no questions tell no lies I say.
Before ppl vomit their nonsens and don't understand the reason..... Well done NicolaSturgeon, respect and don't worry about the small-minded idiots...
Fewer unwanted pregnancies…
Teenagers know what anal sex is and have anal sex. Do these right-wing groups suggest the government shouldn't learn about teenage sex in order to tailor education and services provided to teenagers?
Why? Does the stigma of anal sex limit the potential for it to cause public health concerns? Fulz
paedos at the top of every chain
What asshole wrote that
