Nicola Roberts has shared a heartfelt tribute to her late Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding after it was announced that she had tragically passed away aged 39 on Sunday 5 September.
"Especially this last year since her diagnosis, as hard as the year has been, our new memories are strong in my heart. "A part of me or us isn’t here anymore and it’s unthinkable and painful and utterly cruel. She would have loved your messages today," followed by a heart emoji. The singer, 36, took to Instagram to post a picture of Sarah on the cover of her memoir, Hear Me Out, which was released earlier this year in March and detailed the late star's battle with cancer.
Nadine, Nicola and Sarah soared to fame together in 2002 in the band, Girls Aloud, along with other members Cheryl and Kimberley Walsh.Sharing a black-and-white photo of her daughter, she added the caption: "It’s with deep heartbreak that today I’m sharing the news that my beautiful daughter Sarah has sadly passed away," she wrote.
