NHS workers are being offered FREE holidays in Ibiza to thank them for their hard work battling coronavirus.

All staff can enjoy a seven-night stay on the Spanish island for nothing next year as part of a campaign to show “gratitude to health heroes”.NHS workers are being offered a free seven-night Ibiza holidayIt is part of an initiative to thank healthcare staff for working so hard during the pandemicThe Ibizan government has agreed to back an initiative called Together for Healthcare Heroes which was launched in March.

According to the organisation’s website, their mission is to find at least 1,000 “best in class” accommodation providers in Europe to provide complimentary stays for healthcare staff.A statement said: “It all started with a simple idea early in March.“How can we say thank you to those putting their own lives at risk for us?

“Together we are driving change by celebrating and rewarding those who put our community, family and friends first during the“We thank those who we have trusted with our lives, by gifting them our homes and hotels in Ibiza and across Europe.”and announced it will provide a large discount to NHS staff.

Health workers can register for 40 per cent off flights for themselves and three others until 18 July - but tickets can be booked for flights up to May 2021.

Oh yeah free holiday for doing a job which they’re paid to do, chose to do & have already had loads of freebies & discounts what about the “normal” people who went to work, paid they’re taxes etc & got nothing extra...This “hero” worship is annoying now & unnecessary
