That’s outrageous. Those Fines should be repaid immediately, especially when you compare the Salary increase of NHS over the past decade with the Salary increase if our MOs plus their expenses. Thankfully there are a small minority of MPs who declined their Salary increases.

Good

Hilarious. Twats.

Too right they should of known better.

That's her rise gone.

I don't think this will gain the gmpolice will any favour for socially distanced protest by NHS workers. 10DowningStreet has let them down and the police are complicit.

Eccellente!

Go to court it will get over turned as police are not allowed to issue fines its unlawful while there working. Its why they have 3rd parties working on there behalf they are public servants and work for the public.

Some fucking Shower thugs in Uniform is all they are.

They need to take these police to court for violating human rights

Disgusting 🤢

Any protect at the moment is clearly against the protect the NHS message.

its very disappointing that GMP have decided to adopt tactics more in line with those used by police in Belarus, HK, Myanmar and Thailand. Rounding up and arresting old ladies must be a lot easier that hunting down real criminals.

Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lol

Well they aren’t above the law

2 shifts on the bank will cover it

Incidentally.. How much were your 2 reporters fined by the way ? You know those 2 hypocrites who love saying ...

Can't disagree with with just amazing given NHS and let's all spread the virus and give our coworkers far more stress and cases.Apart from that was ok

The law not supporting nurses

I think it was so two faced to protest we've been locked down to save the NHS and rthey do this absolutely disgusting

Good

that's a bunch of lefties, true NHS staff are still working hard

Good. They’re not above the law.

Oh, the irony!!

Good

😂

Greater Manchester police. You should be ashamed. You should be standing by them not fining them.

Definitely not appropriate to fine a nurse £10,000.

Excellent. Are they exempt from spreading it then?

Unions as usual using believers as canon fodder

So did they not fine the Black Lives Matter organiser too as those were also illegal too?

HowardWilkins56 Keir_Starmer ? Where do you stand? With theRCN or SaveTheNHS or are you sat, as usual, sat on the fence!

PeterR2808 Thats the biggest and best laugh I've had all day....need more than 1% now dont tou, you big commie greedy r sole. Pmsl

The fine will be rescinded or quashed... as all the other Covid fines have been. It’s all bullshit just for show... and yet the police still continue to bully, intimidate, harass, give FPNs and arrest as they try to enforce guidance and NOT law. Corporate Stasi

We have been protecting the nhs for the last year and they are prepared to put all that at risk by breaking the rules totally unacceptable

No mass gatherings at the moment, obvious reasons.. you think they’d know better being medically trained and all..

I’d suggest this is more a rent a mob than NHS staff. Surely they know better than anyone the heath risks of trying to march / social distance during a pandemic.

Good stay home ptotect the NHS

Good

I can see the funny side of that.😀

Good enough, these protesters need to realise they can’t be treated different from the rest of us.

They should be fined. I agree the NHS deserve more, but breaking current guidelines to protest it, risking a further influx of covid patients into hospitals, isn’t the way to do it.

Will they pay it or the union?

Maybe Boris should pay it as its his government who have slapped the NHS staff in the face after saving his life and millions of others lives not just through covid but every other illness known to man. ' If you own a car you dont superglue the petrol cap shut '

This is ridiculous - we have to stop living in fear as we did BEFORE covid - I am sure this is good for advisor's careers but each time we have restrictions - TAKES TIME OUT OF OUR LIVES TO LIVE NOT TO MENTION MONEY OUT OF OUR FAMILIES POCKETS

They'll really need their 1% now 😂

Disgraceful 🐷 🐷 🐷

a revolution is long overdue

Well!! For the first time that I’ve heard, the p9lice are including protests that aren’t related to anti-lockdown. It’s time for the playing field to be levelled.

The police had no choice - if protests aren't permitted at present, then the rules have to be applied to everyone equally.

Excellent

Not many occasions make my heart sing....But this organiser getting a £10K fine has cheered me up no end. The sheer stupidity of breaking the law when they should be protecting the NHS does not lose its irony....

Break the rules expect a fine end of

Good.

Excellent

👍 good on the police. Fine every single one of them

Argellian1 Shame.

Good!

Union bod or professional protestor ?

40 people - says it all really doesn’t it?

That's their xmas party paid for

Are they serious our NHS deserve better, I'm absolutely disgusted at the proposal from the government, THEY SAVED OUR LIVES, oh not forgetting you bojo

Good very good , stay home save OUR NHS couldn't make it up could you l

LOL!

Ask nhs union if they will pay it out of the 35 million they have set aside for strike action

Let them keep campaigning and getting fined. It's a new way of crowd funding so they can fund their own pay rise. 🤣😂

HA HA HA HA

Sky news being anti government again, anti british, anti democracy.

HOW MANY AND HOW MUCH HAVE THE PAY RAISES BEEN TO POLITICIANS OVER THE YEARS BORIS BorisJohnson

And the 1000s of rangers fans did what they wanted. Even the knob gerrard greeted them when they shouldnt of been there. £200 fine for every one? No of course not, bit too hard for scottish police and krankie

Totally disrespecting the NHS and nurses. Should have been £10,000 had enough of protesters ignoring the rules all year and spreading the virus. This behaviour is futile, get home, stop flouting when we are making sacrifices to get out of lockdown🦠💉🤦‍♀️

What a plonker

Good they shouldn't be breaking the law. The private sectors and many parts of the public sector haven't had wage increases for many years. Many NHS staff earn way above the avarage wage they enjoy longer holiday periods. Unions doing all they can to undermine the government.

Stay at home protect the NHS....

Good

Surely the pay review meeting will sort this out in May?

clearly the 10 grand fines ain't enough of a deterrent double it and get these idiots of the streets

Yet in Scotland rangers footbal fans can party for winning the league. Police didn’t issue a single fine. Makes a complete shambles of the whole lockdown.

Protests should not be held at all. Nurses must realise that these are difficult times and many people have lost their jobs and livelihoods and these nurses were being paid for doing their job. Many other essential services were working flat out too not just the nurses

Well the NHS has been telling us to stay at home for months to protect it

Scummy gmpolice

This is an awful way to show support to the NHS stuff if any of them get COVID or spread it to someone else it

Down to bad planning, if they had the protest in Govan ...... not a word said 👍

Wow that's just funny the NHS organiser thought he/she is above the law I'm glad they got fined if they didn't you would've seen alot more NHS protests
