Tyson Fury is set to take to the ring for the first time in 2023 when he faces Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on October 28.
Fury retains the WBC heavyweight title, with the undefeated 35-year-old keeping his world champion status following his win against Derek Chisora last December. This was Fury's last fight, with many hoping that it would be the precursor to a bout against Oleksandr Usyk, however, a unification contest could not be agreed between the two world champions.
This means, that he will take on the hard-hitting Cameroonian, who left the UFC earlier this year to pursue opportunities outside of the Octagon following an excellent career in MMA. Fury will pose an interesting proposition, with UFC fighters such as Conor McGregor having struggled to adapt to the more structured rules of the boxing ring in the past.
