Nearly 1,000 instances of police brutality recorded in US anti-racism protests

The United States is currently experiencing one of the longest continued periods of civil unrest in generations, after demonstrations sparked by George Floyd’s death expanded to protests against black Americans killed by police and systemic racism in the country.

Scary when u can’t tell the difference when compared side. Y side correctly the similarities to the Russian govt.... just an observation.

And it won't get any better as long as we have a president who provokes and condones these hate crimes... a president who thinks White Supremacists are 'very fine people... a viciously racist president who is protected and enabled by his corrupt GOP and beloved by his vile base.

Also how many protestors....millions let's put this number into perspective.

'Instances'? What a bullshit word to use. You know full well 90% of those are baseless accusations or perfectly legitimate uses of force that will go no further.

I initially viewed the riots through this lense and certainly know US cops are generally over-aggressive but after a while I realised that in many cases the police were being surprisingly restrained considering the people they were dealing with

The police are HUMAN BEINGS not machines. I think of regular normal person could only take someone screaming and throwing crap at them for so long before they have to react. It would be abnormal for them to act like robots. Wtf is news here.
