'My heart was broken the day you left and the pain is still so raw, and every day my only wish is that you will come through the door.'

The heartbroken mum of a young woman who tragically died on her way to a dance music festival has spoken out.

The beautiful 20-year-old from Maghull, near Ormskirk, had been excited to be heading to the iconic event. Tragically she never returned home after the crash on August 29. Now, thirteen years later, her devastated mother, Lesley Williams, has paid an emotional tribute to her daughter, the Echo reports.Lesley said, in a public statement on her Facebook page: "It's so strange as some days I don't know what I am feeling and today is one of them.

Lesley said: "I know that I am doing my best and don't know what else to do, it seems like something blocks me when I feel I am getting through. My heart was broken the day you left and the pain is still so raw, and every day my only wish is that you will come through the door. "And I will always keep your memory alive no matter what else I do! I love you Dom." The distraught mum issued an urgent plea last year for people heading to festivals to stay safe on roads on their way to and from the festival.
