THE MOTHER of a little girl who died in a horror crash with a lorry has asked god to "take me instead" in a devastating tribute.
Cops and paramedics rushed to A338 Church Street just before 6.30pm after the collision and the girl was taken to Salisbury District Hospital. She was a pupil at Collingbourne School and was described by senior staff as "one of our little hedgehogs."The mum wrote on a note at the scene: "To my darling daughter. I will miss you forever.The note went on: "God take me instead, not my child. Not my beautiful, brave, courageous, hilarious, wonderful daughter whom I was blessed to call my own.Staff at Collingbourne School also left a tribute to Eloise at the scene, along with a teddy bear.
