Microsoft says it recently offered Sony 10-year deal to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation

Speaking to the New York Times, Microsoft accused Sony of misleading regulators, saying the company had"overstated the importance of Call of Duty to its viability." In response, Jim Ryan told the publication this was"not true", adding Microsoft was"a tech giant with a long history of dominating industries" and that"it is highly likely that the choices gamers have today will disappear if this deal goes ahead.

Assuming Microsoft is able to clear all regulatory hurdles, its acquisition of Activision Blizzard is expected to complete next summer.Get your first month for £1 when you buy a Standard Eurogamer subscription. There's two things wrong about this. Microsoft offering a deal in a company they don't own feels more like collusion (to stop Sony fighting the deal) than anything. Second, I doubt it was a fair and favorable deal to Sony.

If Microsoft offer this deal it means that the deal already went through because you can’t do business is something not yours just saying and asking the experts in business here in Twitter

Not good enough, start from 50...

But it’s not about the machines now. Microsoft knows they can’t shift the hardware they want to, so they’ve shifted to getting GamePass on different devices. Saying they’ll put the game on PlayStation is a distraction. What they want to do is get GamePass on PlayStation.

I'd love to see Call of Duty stay on PlayStation, and Marvel's future titles to come to Xbox too. That'd be amazing for both communities in my opinion
