Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has caught 65 of 99 targets this season for 1,037 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is the eighth player in Ohio State history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a single season.
Ohio State star quarterback C.J. Stroud has thrown for 2,995 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and four interceptions this season. Stroud is a Heisman Trophy candidate and the potential No. 1 overall pick. Michigan's No. 1 defensive back, D.J. Turner, will be tasked with trying to slow down Harrison. The senior DB has 25 tackles, one interception and a team-high eight passes broken up. Turner has the speed and ball skills to compete with Harrison Smith Jr. but will that be enough?
The Wolverines also have a Heisman Trophy contender in Blake Corum, who is third in the FBS with 1,457 rushing yards and second with 18 touchdowns. Corum is the first player in Michigan history to rush for a touchdown in 11 games in a single season. Expect him to touch the ball early and often, as a year ago, the Buckeyes' defense was torched for 297 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
