This officer has no shame or honour. She ought to have stepped down immediately.

Unreal

On the other hand she is a convicted police officer regardless of her colour. It is standard practic she would be dismissed.

This is friggin disgusting. When you read what actually happened it is a procedural error not what it's being painted as. Like we can afford to chuck experienced police officers out ? Especially ones with commendations. Something else at play here.

Hope the Met are playing it by the book otherwise she'll sue and be back in a higher job

If it was a white guy this would never have come to anything at all. Shes a successful black woman and they were beside themselves with delight to have something to get her on.

Regardless of any criminal appeal her police charges will be different such as bringing the force into disrepute etc. This is not just minor its not reporting paedo activity. Any conviction for anything by a cop should be immediate prison because they've broken trust.

Good

She’s Diversity, she get a promotion

Makes no sense

The Met have forsaken her very quickly, very unlike them! No doubt she will be reinstaed in the New Year in a higher grade?

Protests in India over bill fast-tracking citizenship for non-MuslimsProtesters in northeast India set fire to tyres and cut down trees to block roads on Tuesday, hours after lawmakers approved a new bill fast-tracking citizenship for non-Muslims. The Bill says that persecuted minorities from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh shall be given fastracked citizenship to India. The Bill has absolutely nothing to do with India's Muslim citizens, as being insinuated by the media. CitizenshipAmendmentBill2019 Fallacious. Clickbait headline. Distorted facts! The vast majority of Indians are elated with the provisions of CABBill. CABBill does NOT affect Indian citizens of any faith, incl Muslims. It's a mechanism by which the Citizenship can be extended to persecuted... I'm confused to why anyone would want citizenship to India the people there are fricking nuts and the laws are terrible
