McDonald's is selling thousands of meals a day using food more than a MONTH past best before dates

McDonald's is selling thousands of meals a day using food more than a month past best before datesChicken Selects from earlier this month were made with frozen food several weeks beyond the ‘best before’ dateMost of its outlets have now received chicken and other frozen items from partner Martin Brower’s four UK depots.Customers also questioned why the firm did not tell its 3.8million daily customers.

He said: “Supermarkets discount or give away food close to best before dates. Why didn’t McDonald’s do that?”

Best before ... not use by...

It’s only a date ha

Bulldog665 Any closures or arrests?

im sure if this was True McDonalds would be closed down with immediate affect it's a bit like our gov telling us this pandemic is really bad & that members of the government are exempt from any of the law's they in force

cold957 🤢

I wouldn't eat that shite even it was in date. I dont get the hype with it all. No wonder so many people are over weight eating this so called food. I wonder just how much of it is actually meat.

if you look closely Thailand is the address on box

JulieSiamese To be honest i wouldn't buy their 'meals' even if they were in date.

SUPREMACISTS : McDonald-Disney-Banks-SONY-Apple-Coca-Nike-Microsoft-Amazon-Google-Facebook ... European Commission estimates the TAX EVASION in EU at € 3ooo billion/YEAR =LESS educational-democratic-sanitary-ecological projects... +CORRUPTION +SOCIAL & FAMILY VIOLENCE

Explains the taste.

It probably tastes better as it ages...

'All are safe until they reach their “use by” date — when they must be binned by law. Customers also questioned why the firm did not tell its 3.8million daily customers.'

Best before... not use by....

who on earth would eat this crap anyway yuck id rather starve

Best before NOT use by.... know the rules..

Oh get real! There are eminently food technicians who will only allow a date extension if it is safe to do so. I worked for McDonald’s for over26 years, they would not risk their customers. This is a non story. Done

Food that is frozen can safelybe used for six months.!

Well if its frozen. And a best before date is so the manufacturer can hold no responsibility. Massive difference between best before and use by.

Using past the best before date is simply reducing food waste (it isn’t the same as a use by date). The only potential issue might be that it may not potentially taste as good, but c’mon : we are talking about McDonalds here... 🤷‍♂️

And it’s still fucking cold

reecyb2 Best before not use by - would you rather they just dumped perfectly edible food?

We knew all alog that they feed our kids with fake food stuff. Boycott

One of many reasons why I don’t use McDonaldsUK .. that’s disgusting and underhand. Customers had a right to know. Dog food !!

Frozen foods will be good for years after the best before date..

About right it’s never fresh

Well if COVID don’t get me then food poisoning will😂😂

Good god, now wonder we are a society that throws away perfectly edible food, best before is very different to USE BY, which by the way, is a legal requirement in the food industry.

You need to learn the difference between use by and best before

Best before means it might not be at its very best! Will be 100% fine and saves needless waste!!! It hasn’t expired 🙄🙄🙄

Their burgers are loaded with anti-freeze & embalming fluid anyway, which is probably why the spazongotardiots who actually eat that shite never notice the difference. 🤣

It's probably got a half life of 500 years so we probably shouldn't worry

They should throw it away?
