Matt Damon denies using homophobic slur ‘in personal life’

using a well-known homophobic slur “in his personal life”, after being widely criticized for revealing in a recent interview that he “retired” the term after his daughter told him it was unacceptable.

So is he accusing himself of lying when he said he used the word and his daughter objected?

I don’t know the man, I’ve never seen video of him being bigoted, only him, his friends and family know. He should probably stop the philosophical conversation with interviewers, they’re not his friends.
