Yiannis Pappas, Telephus, 2018, Bangkok Art Biennale: Beyond Bliss, for the live exhibition A Possible Island? curated by Marina Abramović Institute at Bangkok Art andThe Berlin-based artist Yiannis Pappas was born on the island of Patmos, Greece, famous for being the site where the Bible’s apocalyptic Book of Revelation was written, and where a Unesco-listed monastery has stood since 1088.
