Lawsuit filed against British Coast Guard and two French maritime authorities. It accuses the British and French rescue services of 'passing the buck'.
27 people died on Nov. 24 in greatest loss of life from a single Channel crossing. Deaths sparked row between France and Britain amid record numbers of boats
MailOnline Who cares
Absolutely ridiculous, I've heard refugees phoning up 999 services and the boats have been ok it's just in case they sink, what about genuine people that are in trouble, these so-called do gooders should be ashamed of themselves, the IRL all stay at home, before they get sued, 😖
Stop helping them then,no problem
Any reason why the French are not being sued because they were allowed to leave their coast line in an ub safe dinghy.
Unbelievable. How ridiculous. It capsized in French waters.
U make this up
They should counter sue the French for letting kids into the boats
I can imagine both the French and British coast guards saying they are your problem. Result: late intervention. Remember these victims were people, including children.
Disgusting if they were genuine they would have come through proper channels stop this
It's almost as if there's a shadow network behind these activities dedicated to squeezing as much money out of the British taxpayer as possible.
