Police interrupted a man’s haircut halfway through when they were called to a barber shop that had continued operating against lockdown rules.
The two metre social distancing rule remains in place, with only a certain number of non-essential shops allowed to reopen with new safety measures on June 15 as part of the Government’s three-stage plan to ease lockdown measures.In video of the barber shop bust, two officers are seen walking up a staircase to find a row of people waiting in a queue.
The hair salon is understood to be in Nelson, Lancashire. Lancashire Police has been approached for comment.
