That would be a mistake and I doubt the majority of Americans believe that. If they do they need a civics lesson. Stick to your own politics and stop making up shit about ours NUPEsupreme NUPEsupreme Who are “ The Majority” you speak of ? Majority rules in UK Republic. Democracy is Mob Rule where 51% tell 49% how they must live. If America really is racist then when 51% vote for slavery it becomes LAW. THINK. Framers hated democracy & gave a Republic that recognizes individual, inalienable rights from God that no mob can take away.

Why, when there must be some intelligent people in America under the age of 70, can they not find someone better than these two? sure, would be nice, but my money is on Dems & Reps being content with EC, otherwise third party or god forbid fourth may rise up to the challenge... current system is effective in suppression of any political dissent outside of 2 mainstream parties.

Alexander Hamilton believed advantage to the Electoral College was that electors come directly from the people for that purpose only and for that time only, avoiding a party-run legislature or permanent body that could be influenced by foreign interests. Doesn't work now. Sorry , Hillary . The Electoral College in some part keeps our country and government from looking like Hunger Games.

Hace rato EEUU debería haber desmontado su complicado sistema de elección presidencial, solo justificable cuando los estados que lo componen se creían a si mismos como cuasi países independientes y soberanos. Ya es hora de que parezcan un solo país. This is a total bullshit lib weenie rag tweet... And Hunter Biden received $3.5M from a Russian billionaire..

No. Then the 'majority of Americans' need to get out a Constitutional Amendment. I don't see that happening, since this headline was actually nothing more than clickbait.

Surely more votes from the general population Equals the choice made by the American people? Having the current system doesn’t this mean American votes are pointless if only a single person at the top makes the decision anyway and not the general consensus of the country? 🤮 👏👏👏👏🗳🗳🗳 Ha ha. No.
