Luke Donald names his Ryder Cup pairings as Rahm and Hatton lead

The captains of both Team Europe and Team USA have made the big calls ahead of opening day, and for flying Scot Bob MacIntyre there is no place in the opening foursome pairings of the 44th iteration of the famous competition at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome.

MacIntyre, of course, qualified automatically alongside Rory McIlroy who teams up with Tommy Fleetwood. Meanwhile, Zach Johnson for the colossus clash has chosen Scottie Schefler and Sam Burns to lead Team USA in the morning.Max Homa and Brian Harman vs Viktor Hovland and Ludvig AbergXander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay vs Rory McIlory and Tommy Fleetwood.
