Speaking in an Instagram Live with Grazia, the brunette beauty described how she is rooting for Jake and Liberty, adding: "I really want them to work because I think they could be amazing." Shannon, who hails from Fife, Scotland, also spoke about how the episode was not very entertaining for viewers. Speaking after she left the iconic villa, Shannon admitted that she completely forgot about being dumped from the show and didn't feel threatened by Chloe entering the villa.
