Love Island fans were left confused during Thursday's 2021 National Television Awards after the show picked a past clip of Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole loved-up despite since splitting.
Love Island was nominated for the Challenge Show award, which was won by The Great British Bake Off, and it used the couple's Casa Amor recoupling speech to promote it. While a different show watcher added: "The #NTAs producers showing a clip of Jake and Liberty after they broke up weeks ago." Teddy said that Liberty deserves someone who will make her "feel deserved" while Faye added that she is "proud" of her former co-star, who she likened to a little sister.
