LORRAINE KELLY has revealed she quit her career at the BBC after being told she'd 'never make it' on TV by her boss at the broadcaster.

She explained: “But because it was such a vast organisation, I went to a place where I was the only one.“So I would be doing the sport back in the early eighties, when women didn’t really do football or rugby or any kind of sports, they do now thank goodness and they do it very well.Elsewhere, Lorraine shared another shocking revelation about her career, as she admitted she's grateful she lost her job from ITV show GMTV after getting pregnant with her daughter Rosie.
