Lorraine Cox: Murderer Azam Mangori jailed for at least 20 years

by a jury at Exeter Crown Court, after he admitted preventing a lawful burial.Mangori left Ms Cox's body in his flat for a week before dismembering her.

Ms Cox's family had "suffered eight days of desperate hope and fruitless searching while you sat on your bed deciding how best to escape being held responsible".A video that Mangori made of himself vaping and listening to music just hours after the killing showed he had been "remarkably calm", said the judge.

"We hope and pray that no other woman or family has to go through what our beautiful girl suffered, or that any other family suffers the brutal, distressing experience we have all been through," their statement said.

At least 20 years. This was an evil man who hunted his victim. Should be at least 50 years. Will be out still a relatively young man. Justice is a joke and needs an overhaul
