Amy Lamé, also a BBC Radio 6 presenter, as well as a performer, writer and TV presenter, said she was delighted to come to Belfast and learn about "the city’s work to boost life at night and share our experiences". "I am proud Belfast and London share a collective commitment to work closely with councils, businesses, residents and workers to ensure we are a creating a fair, inclusive and sustainable life at night."

Well in London you can get a bus home after 9pm... 😅

Start with the pricing, London prices, possibly even higher, compare with Liverpool, Newcastle etc, ease of transport around city, and then the unwelcoming bouncers in SOME of the venues

Shite . And getting in and out the town later at night pathetic

VAT reduction for hospitality so business can reinvest in to its staff and potential new venues. We need the same model as ireland and the rest of Europe of the low VAT Belfast has no chance without someone in the government looking at this properly

One person hospitalised after collision involving a bus and pedestrianLatest: One person has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a bus and pedestrian in Belfast city centre Dreadful. I was on a bus where an ulsterbus driver sped up at 2 young teen girls who tried to dart across the road. He was horrid & his attitude stank even on boarding. For some reason lots of drivers have really nasty attitudes. Obvs this may not have been the case here.
