The documentary followed the 28 year old's struggle with online trolls following her rise to fame with girl group Little Mix, which saw her attempt to take her own life in 2013.
Following the airing of the documentary, which saw her break down in tears as she relived the moment she attempted suicide, viewers demanded the hour long film was to be shown in schools to educate young people on the effects of online trolling. A second demanded: "Jesy’s documentary should be shown in schools, colleges, universities, in the work place. This issue needs to be solved before more people take the plunge of ending their life."
Sharing their own experience, another viewer commented: "I don't remember a time when I wasn't bullied for the way I looked and even when I lost weight by starving myself I was still referred to as fat Jess at school. Then at college I was bullied again because .. well I dunno." One viewer wrote: "#JesyNelson has always been my favourite member of #LittleMix but now I respect her even more for speaking out.
