Jesse Lingard's loan move to Newcastle is reportedly 'on the verge of collapse' MUFC

however, the Red Devils have demanded a hefty loan fee as well as a bonus if Eddie Howe’s struggling side remain in the Premier League – something the newly-rich club are not prepared to offer.

Lingard – out of contract in the summer – has featured in just 88 Premier League minutes this season and is so far stalling on signing a new deal at Old Trafford due to his limited game time. He has shown he can still be a key player for Premier League sides following his glittering six-month stint at West Ham last season.Newcastle have signed Trippier and Wood this window and reportedly want Lingard and Dele Alli next, scoring nine goals in 16 matches as they sealed qualification for the Europa League.
