Absolutely absurd. There was no good justification as to why Leicester could not be treated like anywhere else in England.
Good, this should have been in place nationally from day 1 of the lockdown. Some idiots need heavy punishments to be deterred from breaking the law.
So now the 'rules' are finally, actually being called laws, with massive fines as consequence of breaking them - and by breaking them I think we're talking exercising your right as a supposedly free citizen. There is a crime unfolding here, and it's not breaking the 'lockdown'.
