Mohammed Shekha, from the Kurdish region of Iran, survived using his lifejacket. He had been travelling to the UK to find a job to pay for his sister's medical bills. He told his brother Marwan that the smugglers were unsure about the attempt.
There are story's that are made for the incident but the amount he payed the criminals do not match up for his sisters medical bills and how was he to earn any money stuck in a detention centre
he is safe in France and doesn't need to risk his life again
He won’t need to swim if you put him on a train back!
If he had the £10,000 (that the Daily Mail keep telling us it costs) to pay the people smugglers, and is going to try again so that is another £10,000. Why can he not pay his sisters medical bills with that ?
