‘We will be an inclusive, open, tolerant Labour Party proudly facing our country, proudly facing the world’, said Keir_Starmer.

Keir Starmer claimed Labour has ‘closed the door on antisemitism’ after party members narrowly backed a package of reforms.

The body said the ‘discriminatory and unlawful’ practice affected decisions on whether to investigate or suspend members for racial hatred. Reforms were recommended to prevent ‘political interference’ of the kind found to have taken place under Jeremy Corbyn Mr Starmer’s proposal to end the one member, one vote system was watered down in the face of opposition from unions and activists on the left of the party.
