KATE Garraway was shushed by Good Morning Britain producers today during a debate on the NHS.

Guests Kevin Maguire and Iain Dale discussed the army being drafted in to support NHS workers after the Omicron coronavirus variant left many staff sick and isolating. Two hundred troops have been deployed to hospitals in London after 24 hospital trusts across the country declared critical incidents. Interrupting political commentator Kevin mid-flow, Kate laughed: "One person, just very quickly because everyone's telling me to be quiet, but that's nothing new."Random graphics shot across the screen as the visual mixing desk went haywire, leaving cheeky Ben to joke co-star Kate was to blame.

He accused Kate of spilling her early morning coffee over it causing it to malfunction - something she admitted to having done elsewhere. Ahead of an ad break, Charlotte Hawkins made a dash into the editing suite to see if she could solve the problem.
