Kate's comments come days after she revealed she was working on a follow up to the documentary. Speaking at the NTAs, she said: "We are going to make another documentary – there are plans for more."Derek has a very short window of energy, but we are trying. He has been home for four months now and it was enough for him being home." headtopics.com

Kate recently gave an update on her husband's condition, revealing he sometimes sleeps for up to 20 hours a day.She said: "But the fatigue Derek has - I know he's an extreme case because he's got multiple organ challenges - but even with some more milder cases, you know Derek can be sleeping 20 hours out of 24 hours a day.

"He has like 10 minute windows and it's not just feeling a bit tired, he goes white, pale, and it's like everything shuts down," she continued."So you don't want that kind of fatigue, even ruling out all the other things that people are suffering with with long Covid as well. The idea that you can prevent that and just have a bad week in bed is life changing isn't it."
