Jeremy Clarkson speaks out on 'tricky' situation with TopGear guests: 'They're unwilling'

JEREMY CLARKSON - the host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? - has opened up about a 'tricky' situation he and his co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond found themselves in with trying to secure guests for Top Gear.

Jeremy went on to discuss:"But there comes a time after 15 or 16 years when actually, you've done everything. The hotel now has a dedicated hygiene officer and guests are offered a luggage sanitising service on arrival..subscription.

" The journalist shared:"And so, the production meetings became more tricky."We started to realise guests are always tricky to get hold of and particularly on a show that was transmitting several weeks after," he stated.Tableside cooking and garnishing is off the menu, meanwhile – and so are buffets."So, if they're promoting a film or a book, which is almost always why a guest goes on a show, they're unwilling to come on because they're not promoting something that's happening eight weeks down the line.” The ACS said, however, there was a discrepancy between the university’s public statements on racism and the lived reality for black students at Oxford, and called for each college to appoint a designated tutor for race." " Chris replaced Jeremy as host of Top Gear in 2015 after his departure from the motoring programme.“It is precisely due to these same ‘world events’ that Oxford ACS feels that we can no longer delay commenting on the realities of racism not only within Oxford, but actively upheld and enabled by the university and its colleges,” the statement said. The former BBC star wrote in his column for The Sun at the time:"I hope Chris enjoys running what, for the next couple of weeks, is the world’s biggest car show." A report found that Jeremy was responsible for an"unprovoked physical and verbal attack" which left a colleague bleeding and needing hospital treatment.DON'T MISS:.The ACS also raised concerns about the lack of welfare provisions for black students and criticised the handling of an incident at Christ Church college last week after a black student called out a racist “joke” which made light of the killing of Floyd by a white police officer who knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.
