More people have committed suicide in October than have died from Covid-19 over the entire year in Japan, with government statistics showing women are worst affected. : 'We didn't even have a lockdown, and the impact of Covid is very minimal compared to other countries ... but still we see this big increase in the number of suicides.
derekahunter 2100 suicides in 1 month. 83% higher than the same time last year. Likely related to the stresses of the pandemic. What it’s not related to are lockdowns, because they were not in one. What’s astounding is that they’ve had fewer covid deaths than this for the whole year.
The centrists and conservatives need to call for tribunals against the far left radical‘s that were burning and looting and the blue state politicians that denied private citizens their right to run their businesses. Do not tolerate anything less!
realjuliasong Normally - “Seventy percent of suicides in Japan are male, and it is the leading cause of death in men aged 20-44.”
Vahim bir durum.
Suicide ? Only coward people takes their own life. Start from whatever reason” like anger, fear ,hopelessness. people does this, because they don’t truly believe in GOD. I really Feel sorry for the them.
InquisitiveKiw1 Those poor women!
InquisitiveKiw1 “Seventy percent of suicides in Japan are MALE, and it is the leading cause of death in men aged 20-44” But, hey, let’s ignore men.... as always
That would be incorrect, they killed themselves because of what they have had to go through during the 'pandemic', these are hand in hand.
That's odd, lots of numbers 83%, 22%, 2153, but no actual number of the female suicides.
Mental health is probably the least researched and helped ! Cannot go on !!
Female crisis while the majority of suicides are still men. Just like in the UK, but as always the minority have to be made out to be the majority.
The oneself life is so much precious, to take such decision must be the most difficult thing to do. Japan already has a long history of suicide cases, more need to be done to solve this issue.
'Women, who make up a large proportion of the hospitality and retail sector, have faced lay-offs as they bear the brunt of pandemic-induced joblosses. They have also been put at greater risk of domestic violence due to spending more time indoors.' ©
This clearly illustrates the utter lack of hope for their future health, happiness and security in these troubled times! The older generation, at least, have their past life to celebrate in treasured memories of better times!
And in our countries always set Japan as an example of development . Even they refer to it as The planet of Japan. What is the benefit of development if people are unhappy
But as we all know, any deaths unrelated to covid during covid is ruled as covid deaths. In other words, you can be mangled in a car crash and die of covid.
Wow.
Shocking
Waooh.
